Day 1Arrival Guangzhou

Arrive in Guangzhou, you will be met at the airport & transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 2Guangzhou

Today, you will take a city tour of Dr. Sun Yat-sen's Memorial Hall, Temple of Chen Family, Temple of the Six Banyan Trees and Shamian Street. Pearl River Cruise is available for your optional night entertainment if you are interested (at your own expense).

Day 3GuangzhouGuiyang

In the morning, we will show you to see a modern Guangzhou tour by visiting Ersha Island, Huacheng Square, Haixinsha Island (exterior tour) and Guangzhou Tower (exterior tour). Free at leisure in the morning before taking high speed train for Guiyang (Duration: 5.5 hours), then be transferred to the hotel to catch up on some rest for the expedition in Guiyang.

Ersha Island

Day 4GuiyangKaili

After breakfast, you will take driving to Kaili (3.5-4 hours). En route we will stop at a Village in Danzhai County, where you could watch how the paper is made by traditional way. Then visit a short-skirt Miao Village---Qingman, where villager in traditional costumes will stop guests at the entrance of the village, singing toasting songs and offering welcome local wine. We will have at rest and have lunch at this authentic ethnic village. After lunch, continue driving to Kailin, then visit Kaili Folk Museum, which is an ideal place to view the ethnic culture at a glance. Free at leisure for the rest of the day. If you are interested in local food, you could try the famous Sour Soup Fish Hotpot(on your own expense)

Note:
1. Since this trip goes to mountainous area, the road is often rugged. Besides, it often takes long time driving from one place to another.
2. The weather in mountainous area is changeable. TGT suggests you bring raincoat or umbrella with you and also wear suitable shoes.
3. While you are traveling in minority area, TGT suggests you follow your local guide to avoid the restrictions of some minority groups.


Qingman Short-skirt Miao Village

Day 5KailiRongjiang

Depart from Kaili, you will be transferred to Rongjiang via Leigong Mountain. in the morning and visit Jidao Village, which is a long-skirt Miao village with hundred year history, where you could also see the unique ancient barn over water and experience the quiet life in this distant vill. Then we will visit Paika in the way. You could see traditional irrigation. Lusheng is the traditional music instrument for Miao people in China. Tourists have a chance to see how a Lusheng (reed-pipe wind instrument ) is made in this village. Continue driving to Rongjiang and visit Chejiang Drum Tower at Chengjiang Dong Village on the way. Stay overnight at Rongjiang.

Jidao Long-skirt Miao Village

Day 6RongjiangZhaoxing

Driving to Zhaoxing via Congjiang, you will have chance to visit Basha Miao Village on the way. It is only 7 km from Congjiang County and it keeps the vast majority of Miao's original character. Upon arrival at Zhaoxing, you will take a look around Zhaoxing Dong Village. Zhaoxing is famous for its Dong Villages, which are the largest in in China. You will Stay overnight at Zhaoxing.

Basha Miao Village

Day 7ZhaoxingSanjiang

Drive to Sanjiang Dong Autonomous after breakfast. It is about 110 km from Zhaoxing to Sanjiang, needs nearly around 3.5 hours driving. You will have a stop at Tang An Dong Village enroute, where you will find this village is totally a eco-museum. Continue driving to Sanjiang, you will then take a visit to Chengyang Wind and Rain Bridge and Drum Tower in Sanjiang after arrival. Stay overnight at Sanjiang.

Zhaoxing Dong Village

Day 8SanjiangLongsheng

Continue your driving to Longsheng in the morning (around 100km, around 2.5 hours). On arrival, you could take a view for the famous Longji Rice Terrace and explore Ping'an Zhuang Village there as well as other villages nearby. Stay overnight at Longji, the Ping An Zhuang Village.

Longji Terrace

Day 9LongshengGuilin

In the morning, you could get up earlier and watch the sunrise at Longji Terrace Fields. You will have a free morning. Then take about 2.5hours driving to Guilin. Upon arrival, you be transferred to visit the colorful Reed Flute Cave and Elephant Trunk Hill the symbol of Guilin City. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 10GuilinYangshuo

Depart from hotel in the morning, you will be transferred to the Pier for the Li River Cruise (about 4 hours and the lunch will be served on board). Savor the fairy-tale scenery when sail down the meandering river to Yangshuo. Free Time in Yangshuo for you to explore this small but popular county on your own. Optional Impress Liusanjie Show is available tonight.

Get up early and enjoy a countryside tour in the morning by car or biking with family visit. Be transferred back to Guilin for a high speed train to Guangzhou (duration: 2.5-3 hours).
